We Make AI Impactful & Fun
Imagine today's youth creating their own AI prompts, systems, and agents instead of just guessing, copying, and scrolling. We turn screen time into skill time, and understanding AI is only the beginning. At MissionAI, we’re developing the next generation of problem solvers, builders, and innovators. Whether it’s mastering the foundations of artificial intelligence, designing custom games, chatbots and digital helpers, or building full-fledged AI-powered apps, students gain real-world skills, boost their confidence, build communities, and have an absolute blast doing it.

OUR PROGRAMS
AGES 8-13
AI Cadets
Our program for ages 8–13, AI Cadets, is designed to keep your child engaged, curious, and inspired. From building their own AI chatbots to debugging prompts that bring games and stories to life, Cadets learn the foundations of AI while having an absolute blast. Every session blends hands-on projects with fun challenges, so your child won’t just be learning, they’ll be begging to come back for more!
AGES 14-17
AI COMMANDERS
AI Commanders, built for teens ages 14–17, takes learning to the next level. Students move quickly from the basics to designing intelligent agents, building real AI-powered apps, and even deploying their own projects. Along the way, they sharpen problem-solving, creativity, and leadership skills, gaining experience they can showcase in portfolios, school applications, or future careers. More than just learning about AI, Commanders learn how to shape it, and use it to build what matters to them.
AGES 18+
AI PIONEERS
AI Pioneers, built for university students and young adults, empowers learners to move from exploring AI to applying it in the real world. From designing their own autonomous agents to building AI workflows that solve real challenges, Pioneers learn how to integrate AI into how they think, create, and lead. Every session blends hands-on experimentation with real-world problem solving, so participants don’t just study AI, they use it to build what’s next.

What is MissionAI?
We’re a hands-on AI learning academy designed to help youth and young adults build future-ready skills in artificial intelligence, problem-solving, and creative thinking. Students progress through a level-style curriculum, starting with foundations and moving toward advanced projects, while working on hands-on activities, real tools, and fun challenges.
1. AI is the new literacy: AI is going to be as important as a second language going forward. Using it to code, knowing how to prompt it, and how to work more efficiently is the skillset of the future.
2. Problem solving: A core focus of what we teach is how to think in terms of patterns, creativity, and understand trends to problem solve. Sounds Easy. It's Not!
3. Critical thinking: From reading, to creative thinking, to comprehension, to math, AI involves innumerable academic areas that require students to think and produce beyond their grade level.
4. We care about fun and teamwork: Another reason why we exist is because we know that AI can be scary, but it is not. Your child should ALWAYS want to come to MissionAI and to work with amazing teammates.
5. Invest in their future: AI is the present and it is going to be even more prominent in the future. This is the window of opportunity to pioneer the brightest possible future for today's youth.
What are AI Cadets, AI Commanders, and AI Pioneers?
- AI Cadets (Ages 8–13): Our entry-level track that introduces younger students to the fundamentals of AI through guided activities, creative challenges, and beginner-friendly tools.
- AI Commanders (Ages 14–17): Our faster track for teens ready to move through the basics a bit faster, and dive deeper — building agents, using real data, coding, and deploying AI-powered apps.
- AI Pioneers (Ages 18+): Our accelerated track for university aged students ready to dive deep into an arsenal of AI tools that will prepare them for the workforce ahead.
Do students need prior coding or AI experience?
No experience is required. Our programs start with unplugged activities and simple drag-and-drop tools, then gradually introduce prompting, agents, and coding at a comfortable pace.
How does the star progression system work?
Each “star” is a four-week module (or monthly subscription) focusing on a specific area of AI. Students start with their first star and advance through the "solar system", earning stars, badges and certificates as they go. They can begin at any time and move up at their own pace.
How are classes delivered?
Classes are in-person, small-group sessions at local venues or pop-up learning labs. Each class blends hands-on activities, live demos, and project time. Some stars include supervised online components. Currently, we are launching in Metro Vancouver with expansion plans in the near future.
What equipment do students need?
We provide computers/laptops and all materials for class activities. Students may bring their own device if they prefer. No expensive hardware or special software required.
How long are the classes?
Each class session runs approximately 2 hours per week. Each belt lasts four weeks. Students can re-enroll for the next star immediately or take breaks between stars.
Who are the instructors?
We recruit instructors (“AI Officers”) from top local universities and the tech community. All instructors receive training on our curriculum, child safety, and teaching methods. Our founding team has backgrounds from Shopify, Google, UBC, Stanford University, Blackstone, and other world-class institutions.
